The MTN XTRATIME Recovery Solution applies to XtraTime eligible prepaid Customers only
Only customers who have been on the network for 90 days or more are allowed to access
Different credit bands are available to different customers, depending on the customer’s profile (tenure on network and recharge frequency)
A Customer’s main account balance must be less than K1 to see all offers.
The amount a customer can borrow should be dependent on Total Credit Limit.
The MTN XTRATIME service can be accessed via USSD code *118#
A service charge of 10% of the requested airtime is charged per successful request.
A Customer must recharge her/his account via any of the available physical and electronic recharge channels to payback the XTRATIME Airtime borrowed.
The amount borrowed is first deducted from the recharge amount and the balance, if any, will then be loaded in the Customer’s main account.
In cases where the recharge amount is less than the outstanding XTRATIME Airtime amount, subsequent recharges will be used to recover whatever is outstanding until the loan is fully recovered.
A Customer with insufficient airtime in her/his main account may request XTRATIME Airtime.
Any existing airtime in a customer’s main account prior to requesting for a XTRATIME loan will be used to partly offset any requested debt generated by a XTRATIME advance and immediately, the Customer’s XTRATIME product is credited.
The pricing of the XTRATIME bundle will not be the same as the original bundle as it will now attract a 10% service fee on the transaction
The MTN XTRATIME Recovery Solution applies to Xtratime customers only
The MTN XTRATIME Recovery will be made from any bundle purchased through any channel including bundles received from another MTN customer.
